An Example of Personality Profiling: Predicting a Winner in Combat Sports

Personality profiling can be a very complicated process, but it has many powerful uses in all arenas of life. For example, it can be used in sports psychology and predicting a winner in combat sports. This video will also introduce the atmosphere at a live UFC event for those who have never experienced it.¬†Light heavyweight MMA fighters Rashad Evans and Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson fought in the main event to settle their grudge match at UFC 114.

I need enough material in order to formulate a person’s profile, and thus I cannot predict the winner in every fight because I do not have sufficient experience with the fighters to develop an accurate personality profile. That was not the case for Evans and Rampage as I was able to get inside their minds and understood their individual mental strengths and weaknesses. Thus, I was able to predict an Evans win by decision in a predominant pro-Rampage audience. I will discuss the complex subject of personality profiling in future educational videos.
